Professor of Mathematics

Kutaisi International University

I am a research mathematician with a primary focus on noncommutative topology, particularly the application of category-theoretic methods to operator algebras and their K-theory.

Currently, I am an assistant professor at the School of Mathematics and Computer Science at Kutaisi International University. In addition, I work as a researcher at A. Razmadze Mathematical Institute and serve as an expert at the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, at the National Center for Educational Research.

Beyond mathematics, I also teach courses in theoretical computer science.

I earned my PhD in 2015 from the Mathematics Institute at the University of Göttingen under the supervision of Ralf Meyer. Prior to that, I studied at Tbilisi State University, where I completed my Master’s thesis under the guidance of Alex Patchkoria.
